Howdy Aggies,
Please join your local Aggies for Muster! Traditional live Muster program, followed by a sit-down meal and a distinguished Aggie as our Muster speaker!
We are honored this year to have Dr. Deb Zoran, founding member and second director of the Texas A&M Veterinary Emergency Team (VET) as our speaker this year. Read more below about Dr. Zoran’s work in our area!
When: Sunday, April 27th from 1-3pm
Location: The Hatch, 45 South French Broad Avenue, Asheville, NC. While it is in the downtown area, there is plenty of parking across the street. There is map visible on the online ticket link.
Details: The club will provide BBQ, drinks (tea, water, soft drinks), and desserts. Please bring a side dish other than a dessert to share.
Cost: Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for ages 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased HERE. Sales will continue until Wednesday, April 23.
Speaker: We met Dr. Zoran and her team when they were here last October helping in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. She, and her team of 11, provided veterinary medical care and support for FEMA search and rescue teams who were deployed from all over the US. She will share some of her fascinating experiences and perspectives of Helene plus other deployments with us. We are in for another special event, so come join us! You can read more about meeting Dr. Zoran HERE.
Club Dues: If you are a member of the Club, or wish to become one, we collect annual Club dues for the coming year at Muster. The amount is $25 per Aggie or $35 per family. These payments will be taken at the door, and are used to support our club activities and scholarship fundraising. Your support is always appreciated. Please bring cash or check.
Questions: If you have any questions or comments, please contact Muster Chair Eddie Heath ’79 at eddieheath1985@gmail.com. To learn more about the Muster tradition, please visit https://www.aggienetwork.com/muster/. For more information on TAMU VET visit https://vetmed.tamu.edu/news/tag/vet/.
